Spring Break
for Women
Key West, Florida
Spring Break for Women March 16-20, 2009
After the college kids depart from Key West, we'll settle into the brand new, contemporary caribbean Almond Tree Inn located off the world famous Duvall St. in the historic Old Towne district. The Monday travel day should result in lower airfares and less congested air travel.(rates for rooms were reduced, too!)
Key West, the southern most point of the United States, is eclectic, historic, rambling, walkable and full of lush tropical vegetation, a sight for sore eyes after a winter spent bracing against the cold. Full of colorful Victorian houses, every street in Old Town is a visual treat. Our Key West Spring Break will reflect the laid back, relaxed nature of this town. While we'll have planned activities and dinners together every day, there will be plenty of time to indulge your private interests, whether sitting by the heated pool, strollng on the beach or boardwalk, exploring the shops on Duvall Street or seeking out more historic sites.
This package will include 4 dinners,4 breakfasts, tours of Truman's Summer White House, Hemmingway's House (with the famous 6-toed cats) the Butterfly Conservatory, a Glass Bottom Boat Ride and the local Trolley Tour.
I have reserved space for 14 people. Last year's Maine trip I booked 18, so contact me immediately if you are interested in this tour. Many have asked about my plans for Key West and I expect this tour to fill early!
