Fonthill: An American Castle built of cement and tiles
Nine women from all over the country gathered for daily walks, yoga, camaraderie and the beauty of Bucks County and the Delaware Recreation area.
Spirits were high and laughter abundant. And the towpath? "It was like we had our own, beautiful private walking path, every day," said Catherine P. from Michigan.
One of the favorite dinners was with radio and TV personality,Chef Tel. We had a private dining experience and Chef Tel regaled us with stories and jokes, autographed recipe cards and his old-world charm.
We rode the canal boat drawn my mules, explored Fonthill Castle, built by Henry Mercer, and his Moravian Tile "factory" staffed by artisans making tiles my hand.
